We don't have time left to regret, Hold On, It will take more than common sense. Kiyoshi hopped out of the beat-down car he'd previously been in. Not even making sure that it was locked, he stuffed his hands in the girly jeans he had on, and began his way down the strip of cement that was located on the park grounds. It seemed as if he'd spent his whole time at school, in this park. It was the only way he could think to escape from the tormenting laughs of his peers. It bugged him that kids could be so cruel to others that they spent day after day with, but it was hardly a thing that made him want to change the way he was. Sure, he was different, but he liked being that way. So what if girls clothes were more appealing to him...it shouldn't matter. Yet, it did. And it was something he'd learned to deal with. The fact that he was gay...really did not help, though. Not only did this get him teased by kids at school, but got him in trouble with his brother, and father, for that matter. They didn't like guys like that. He felt it was his fault that him and his brother had left himself and his mother. That was the only thing that ever made him want to change who he was. Regardless of that, he was perfectly content with the way he was.
Now turning to cut across the grass, he pulled his Ipod out and slipped one earphone into his right ear, turning the music on it up the smallest bit. But, this did still give him the chance to hear if anyone happened to speak to him. He doubted this would happen, but he still hoped it would. Seeing as how much he got teased, he didn't have as many friends as he would have liked. Don't get me wrong, he had friends...some...just not as much as he would like.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a few guys snickering at him, obviously kids from his school. This seemed not to affect him, and really it didn't. Except for the fact that they wouldn't stop. That was the thing that most bugged him about people. Thye just didn't know when to stop. They could be so stupid. Oh well, that wasn't his problem, right? This was the thing that kept him from speaking to people. He never knew whether or not they would be pleasant enough to be nice to him. Usually, this wasn't the case.
Chewing his lip lightly and taking the mini-tablet from his pocket, he seated himself under a tall tree just a few steps away. Pulling his knees up slightly, he pulled out his sketching a face, a boys face to be exact. Although he didn't exactly know who's face was going to come out. Probably his brother. Despite that his brother hated his guts, he still longed for the companionship that brothers were supposed to have. But, he knew that this was almost impossible.
Grinning at the sketch that was coming out, he saw that it was no boy, but a woman. A woman who in fact turned out to be his mother. Of course, him and his mother were quite close. This was only because his dad had left. Whatever, he didn't want to think about that right now. The grin was still clearly etched across his face.
Sighing, he set the tablet beside him, along with the pen. He was so bored, it was almost unbearable. He needed someone to speak to. But, noone seemed to want to talk to him. So, instead, he began to sing to himself, quite good actually. See, he was a boy with many talents, it was just the simple fact that people were narrow-minded and didn't want to speak to him simply because of the way he dressed. He needed someone to call a true friend though.

Yawning to himself, Tetsuya reclined within the taller branches of a rather sturdy tree. His arms were placed behind his head and he was leaning back against the base of the tree, eyes looking around what he could see of the park. Not too much was truly going on. A few picnics and social gatherings, people coming and going with friends and family. The usual basically. "Such a boring day." He spoke to himself, eyes continuously searching the park for the slightest interesting thing. Sadly he found none and could only sigh at this. Geez, he thought life with his sisters was boring. Life here at this school to him couldn't get anymore so if it tried. He'd been here since his Freshman year and yet he'd hadn't made a single friend to hang with. His sisters thought this was pitiful, taunting him playfully whenever he went back home for the summer, but in truth it was.
Sighing again, he kept scanning the area for signs of anyone that could amuse him. Though as he found none, he pulled off his fluffy white jacket, which he had only worn that day for a pillow if need be, and folded it up, placing it between his head and the tree trunk. The feel of his bare-skinned chest and back against the branch didn't feel particularly good, but he would rather feel that than be burning up with a shirt on, which he knew he would have been, especially since he'd chosen to wear the white fluffy jacket. A yawn escaped his lips as he rolled over on his side on the branch and snuggled against the fluffy jacket until he was comfortable. Once he was it was only a matter of minutes before the Japanese teen was dozing in the branches of the tree.
A few non-important dreams came to mind for the first little bit he was asleep, but eventually for some odd reason he started to actually feel like he was slipping from something within his dream state. It didn't make sense due to the contents of his dream, so he waved it off...until his body and mind jolted awake at realizing he was falling off the branch he had dozed off on. Luckily for him, he'd managed to catch himself just in time, grabbing onto a nearby branch and hanging onto it for dear life in shock of what had just happened. "Holy...shit..." He muttered to himself as he hung there. His chocolate brown eyes were wide with astonishment as he hung there for a couple minutes before he managed to calm himself down and pull himself back up to sitting on the branch.
Looking around once he got up there though, he realized his jacket was nowhere to be found. Immediately his gaze was drawn to the branches below him and when he saw that it wasn't even there, he climbed down branch by branch, trying to find it. Eventually he reached the bottom, only to find it resting in the lap of another teen. A little embarrassed that it had fell that far, he walked over and stood beside the teen. "Hey, um...can I have my jacket back?" He questioned, face not showing his embarrassment, but his voice holding a hint of it. Though as he looked at the teen, he couldn't help but wonder what gender this teen was exactly. He'd never been a good person at that kind of judgment and thus never made it. He just hoped the other teen would let him know somehow when he spoke because he was curious.

Looking at your picture from when we first met, You gave me a smile that I could never forget, And nothing I could do could protect me from you that night. [/tt][/center] A few moments had passed as Kiyoshi sang, and it seemed that nothing extrodinarily out-of-the-ordinary would happen that day. But, oh god was he wrong. Just as that thought had entered his mind, a white jacket fell from, well, it seemed it had fallen from the sky, but really it'd been the tree above him; and onto his lap. Surprised by this, a look of embaressment crossed his face. Who's jacket was this? Whoevers it was, he hoped they atleast had some sort of decency.
Looking down at the jacket, he thought of what to do. But, nothing really came to mind, and he felt extremely stupid at just sitting there with someone's jacket in his lap. Looking up, he jerked his head around, trying to find whoever the owner was. He couldn't seem to spot them, though. Once more, he turned his attention back to the coat and coughed uncomftorably, now really feeling extremely stupid. But, you couldn't blame him. Here he was, sitting with someone's coat in his lap, and he didn't even know who's it was! Was he seriously going mental?!
"Hey, um...can I have my jacket back?"
Hearing a boy's voice in front of him, his head shot up and he shifted his eyes uncomftorably from the coat to the guy. Chewing his lip, he pulled out the earphone in his ear, nodded his head nervously, and held the jacket out for the other teen to take. Nerves wrapped around his stomach as he stood up shakily, scratching the back of his head embaressedly.
"I...I....uhm...sorry," he muttered hesitantly, his voice slightly girly, but you could definitely tell that it was that of a boy's. He expected the other to expect an appology from him. Although, there really was no reason for him to be appologizing, most people made him appologize if he touched their things, as if he had some kind of disease that could be caught if he touched them.
His eyes now averted their attention to the ground beneathe them, his small hands fumbling with eachother uncomftorably. He didn't know whether he should say more or not, so he just kept his mouth shut. Although, it was quite obvious across his face that he did want to say more. What exactly he wanted to say, he wasn't exactly sure, he just wanted to be able to talk to someone without them shooting tormenting comments his way. Gulping down the trembling nerves that were reaching his fingers, he once more took a glance up, shooting a weak smile in the other teens direction.
"Uhm..." he stumbled out, chewing his bottom lip nervously once again, "M-My name's Kiyoshi." he stuttered out, as if the teen had asked him what his name. This was really the only way he could think of to start a conversation, and he hoped that the teen was atleast a little nice to him. All he wanted was to make a friend.

Smiling when his jacket was extended to him, he took it graciously and slipped it back on, but didn't zip up the front of it, letting his bare chest show still. His eyes blinked in confusion though as he was apologized to. Tetsuya faintly wondered if his jacket had fell elsewhere and the other teen had just picked it up, thus apologizing for doing so. He mentally shrugged that thought off though and just watched as the obviously younger teen seemed nervously moving about. "Hey, um, it's alright you know. It's what I get for falling asleep in the tree." He spoke in reply, laughing a little good-naturedly. If this teen thought it was his fault his jacket had fell from the tree, then he was sorely mistaken, so he found it amusing that the person was apologizing for it. He didn't know why, but he just guessed it was his odd sense of humor.
A bright smile crossed his face as he stood there a minute, though it turned into a frown as he saw the small boy, which he now could proudly state he knew was the teen's gender, fidgeting immensely. "Ano...did my jacket falling on you scare you that much?" He questioned, it slipping from his lips the moment it entered his mind, "Because if so then I'm the one who should be apologizing." He truly hoped it hadn't freaked the teen out that much because he didn't like being mean to or scaring anyone, much less someone who looked like he was just a bundle of nerves. He looked down to his cowboy boots for a moment as he spoke, briefly checking for any damage on the descent from the tree. Seeing that there was none, he looked back up and at the other teen.
As he saw himself being introduced too, Tetsuya automatically realized that the other teen, known as Kiyoshi he noted, wanted to speak with him. He guessed this anyway, so therefore he went with his hunch and plopped himself down cross-legged next to Kiyoshi. "Well, hello then Kiyoshi." He smiled, reaching out a hand to him, "I'm Tetsuya." His smile was bright, so he hoped this would calm the boy next to him at least in the slightest. It was then he noted that the other teen wore girls' clothes and not guys' clothes. (Yes, he truly is this slow) "What's up with the girls' clothes?" Came yet another blunt question he couldn't hold back. Stupid bad habit. "I mean, not that I can really talk or anything seeing as I'm a fashion disaster, but...I've never met a guy who wears girls' clothes." He hadn't been trying to be rude and he hoped that was conveyed in his last sentences.

He could make alone look pretty, His attitude made a part of the landscape, Riding his bike through Alphabet City. "Hey, um, it's alright you know. It's what I get for falling asleep in the tree."
Kiyoshi let a small giggle escape his lips at the other teen's laugh. He grinned lightly and nodded his head in response, still seeming to be a tad nervous. This was just the way Kiyoshi was. Well, atleast at first. This was due to his many insecurities, and he couldn't help it. Although he was much confident in himself, he did have a lot of insecurities as well. He just hoped that he wasn't making the other think he was a weird guy. Which in fact, he really was, he just didn't like other people teasing him for it.
"Ano...did my jacket falling on you scare you that much?" "Because if so then I'm the one who should be apologizing."
Kiyoshi could only smile sheepishly and shake his head at first, the nerves keeping a tight hold on his stomach. But, looking up, his smile widened and he took a semi-deep breath, finally replying with words instead of actions.
"No. It didn't really freak me out...just...shocked me." he said, another small giggle escaping his lips. That giggle of his sounded much too feminine to be a males, but indeed it was coming from him. This just added to the girl-ish look he had. It seemed that his whole personality seemed to fit well with the look he'd given himself. "So...it's alright." he said with a nod of his head and a cute smile. A smile that had made a million girls squeal with delight and ask their mothers to keep him. Yes, it was embarrassing, but it was actually something he admired about himself. Actually, it was one of the only things he admired about himself.
"Well, hello then Kiyoshi." "I'm Tetsuya."
That cute smile remained upon his lips, only widened the slightest bit, as he saw the other place himself next to him. At this, he curled his legs underneath his body and chewed his lip, listening as he spoke, then slowly reaching out to shake the others hand. This action was, at the least, very hesitant. Once more, he never felt too sure that someone was going to be nice to him or not.
"Nice to meet you Tetsuya.." he said softly, smiling that same cute smile and releasing the small grip he had on the others hand. He placed his hands in his lap once more, only fiddling with his hair for a moment before doing so.
"What's up with the girls' clothes?" "I mean, not that I can really talk or anything seeing as I'm a fashion disaster, but...I've never met a guy who wears girls' clothes."
Although he seriously doubted that the other had been trying to be rude, a bright red blush still crossed his pale cheeks at the teens words. But, he never tore from the tight gaze he had on the other. His eyes almost held a questioning sense to them, as if wondering if the other would be someone whom he could make a friend with, or not. Disregarding this, he spoke after a moment of silence.
"It's just what I like to wear..." he said quietly, now tearing his gaze away from the other and staring at his hands embarrassedly. Chewing his bottom lip for a moment, he took another glance up, eyeing the other hesitantly, "I-is that...something that bothers you?" he asked, resorting back to his normally nervous self as he did. Honestly, he didn't think the other was trying to be rude, it was just the simple fact that when it came to this, Kiyoshi was a nervous wreck with other people. He just hoped the other would answer NO to his last question.

Tetsuya smiled even more so when he was told it was alright. "Ah, so it is. Thank goodness." He smiled happily, drawing his hand back after the younger teen shook it and placing it alongside his other one in his lap. That's when he heard the giggle and it seriously took all he had not too just embrace the other and squeal much like a girl. Ah, could you be any more gay, Tetsuya? Came his mind, in which he just mentally nodded his head in response. He didn't mind being gay, or acting it for that matter, because well, he'd been raised with four older sisters who had basically put that sort of attitude onto him and always reinforced it when he'd brought home a boyfriend. They never cared, so neither did he. It was as simple as that. It was also something he took pride in. Woo hoo, gay pride. He thought to himself randomly.
Seeing the bright red blush stain the other teen's cheeks and him stutter a response, Tetsuya couldn't hold himself back this time. He reached over and hugged the other teen, a bright smile on his face. "Oh my god, your too cute!" He near-squealed, but then eventually let go and resumed his posture. The bright smile remained on his face as he looked over at the younger teen, hoping his movement hadn't totally freaked him out. "Sorry about that. Couldn't resist." He smiled happily, but then realized he'd been asked a question. Did the other boy's clothes bother him? Tetsuya couldn't hold back a light laugh at this. A good-natured one at that. "Of course not. I for one think it looks really good on you." He smiled in response.
Out of the corner of his eyes he noticed some people were staring after his little movement, so he turned to face them, chocolate brown hues staring for a moment in wonder, but then as they started snickering, he glared. He wanted to say something akin to "fuck off", but that wasn't his style, nor did he want to freak the younger teen out. Therefore he just turned back to face Kiyoshi, the smile once more returning. "So Kiyoshi-san...do you attend Asheville High or are you just here on vacation or something?" He questioned, eyes wide in questioning. Well, only part of him was interested int he answer. The other part was interested in getting at the people he heard snickering at them from nearby. It truly was getting on his nerves. Never in his life had he wished for anyone to begin a confrontation with him as he now wished they would.
Deciding it best to leave the area before that happened though, he stood up and extended a hand to Kiyoshi. "Here. Let's move elsewhere. Those guys are getting on my nerves." With his eyes glaring at the guys, he indicated who it was he was speaking of. He only hoped Kiyoshi would come with him because neither did he want to leave the boy behind, nor did he want to have to sit here and listen to those guys' continuous snickering and pointing at the two of them. It would most certainly cause a confrontation sooner or later and while he'd love to beat the crap, well try to anyway, out of the guys, he didn't want to get in trouble on the first day of the new school year. That would not deem too well seeing as it was his last year at the school.

I’ve tried to go on like I never knew you, I’m awake but my world is half asleep, I pray for this heart to be unbroken, But without you all I’m going to be is incomplete. To say that Kiyoshi had not been shocked by the random hug thrown apon him by the older teen, would be a complete lie. Yes, it was shocking, but not something he would tell the other to take back, if he could even do that. No, on the contrary, he rather liked it. This may have been his much gay personality shining through, but none the less, he rather enjoyed the brief hug he had reieved. To say that Kiyohsi got a lot of hugs....well, that would be a lie as well. Rarely ever did Kiyoshi get hugs, so it was a rare treat when he did. Therefore, he did not withdraw, but instead, hugged back for the brief time that there was a hug.
"Oh my god, your too cute!"
Blushing a bright red color once more, he giggled nervously and played with his fingers for a moment, regaining his composure. The others comment had embaressed him...but, in that good embaressed sort of way. He didn't really get called 'cute'. Usually, it was just 'freak'. Big difference there, huh. So, this was not something normal for him to hear.
"Uhm...thanks?" he finally came out with, cocking his head to the side and staring at the older boy with a look of pure amusement across his face. This boy was...well, rather interesting, to be completely honest. But, in some odd way, he didn't mind it. It actually made him feel more comftorable.
"Sorry about that. Couldn't resist."
The cute smile once more crawled its way onto Kiyoshi's lips at this comment. This boy was...appologizing to him? Why? It really made no sense to him, but he kept that much inside.
"No, it's alright! No need to appologize." he said with a small nod of his head, shooting that cute smile in the others direction once more. "I actually quite...quite enjoyed it, to be truthful." he said quickly, slapping a hand across his mouth as he'd done so. An embaressed look came across his face and he covered his face up embaressedly, "I mean...in the sense that...I don't...get much hugs...yeah..." he stuttered out, feeling like a complete idiot for saying what he had.
"Of course not. I for one think it looks really good on you."
Peeking his eyes out of his hands, a small grin spread across his face, and it was now his turn to squeal and hug. He quickly, before the other could probably even tell what he was doing, flung his arms around the other in a tight hug. Well, a tight hug in his perspective, but Kiyoshi wasn't all that strong. On the contrary, he was quite weak. It kind of shocked him how fast his attitude had changed. One minute he'd been completely embaressed, and the next, he was giving some guy that he'd just met a hug.
"You know...i've never heard anyone say that to me before." he said, thinking for a moment as he pulled away slowly, regainng his composure, "Most people just call me a total freak, and never talk to me again." he shrugged the smallest bit and nodded his head, "So, I was kind of surprised that you said it. Hence my OWN random hug." he said, smiling cutely once more and giggling.
"Here. Let's move elsewhere. Those guys are getting on my nerves."
Out of the corner of his eye, he could see the guys Tetsuya was talking about. They had been snickering and pointing for quite some time, but he had only just now noticed them. This was a nice change, for once. Although, a light blush could still be seen across his cheeks as he grabbed the older teens hand and pulled himself up. It seemed as if he was practically hiding behind Tetsuya as he did so, though. Seeing as he made it a point to cover his face and almost crouch the slightest bit behind the older teen, it really did look as if he was hiding from them.
This action was simply because he didn't want to be embaressed by any of those guys whilst he was making a new friend. Usually, he didn't bother with them, but it actually embaressed him that they were snickering at them while Tetsuya was standing right there. He just remained in his position, waiting for Tetsuya to direct them in a different direction, seeing as it seemed he couldn't move on his own at the moment.

Tetsuya just smiled brighter when he was hugged back. Indeed he'd just been about to repeat his actions due to how cutely the other hid his face behind his hands, Tetsuya had been surprised by the gesture being returned instead. It surprised him for a few moments, unsure of what to do, before he just shrugged his shoulders and hugged back. Though when he felt the younger boy pull away and begin speaking, he regained his own composure and listened intently. "Really? Ever?" He blinked his eyes in wondering as he asked the question. No one had ever told this boy that he looked good dressed like this? What in the heck happened to a fashion sense then? People had to be blind not to see how good that look looked on Kiyoshi. Sure, Tetsuya had a pretty bad fashion sense when it came to himself, but he actually had a good one when it came to other people.
What Kiyoshi said next surprised him even more. Calling him a freak? How rude and stupid of people. Kiyoshi wasn't a freak in any sense of the word. Sure, he dressed oddly, but he wasn't a freak. "Well, how rude." He spoke then, smiling though still, "I'm not like that though, so don't worry about that." He smiled happily and when his hand was taken, followed by Kiyoshi pulling himself up and hiding behind him, his attention turned to the guys once more. Kiyoshi really was embarrassed by their quaint snickering. Tetsuya, while he was not one to care what other people typically did or said about him, got severely pissed off at how they were making Kiyoshi feel and act. Though he calmed himself a little bit and just sufficed for placing an arm over Kiyoshi's back and rubbing it just a bit to calm him.
Then after one more glare towards the guys, he walked off, making sure to keep Kiyoshi close to him. He didn't know why but he felt protective over him already even after just knowing him for about fifteen minutes. He could only guess it was a trait his sister's had given him when they'd raised him. That girly protectiveness that mothers had. He mentally shrugged at this. It wasn't like he could change it or that it was really anything bad. More or less it was a good thing to have so as to be able to protect those around you from harm or the like. And to Tetsuya it seemed like Kiyoshi could use the protecting from the way he cowered behind Tetsuya's body after those guys had started snickering at the two of them. Though this thought made him smile a bit because he was actually able to help someone, something he wasn't used to. Well, aside from helping his sisters that is.
After a little bit of walking, Tetsuya settled for seating himself at a picnic table within about the middle of the park. He figured Kiyoshi would do the same, therefore he just sat there for a moment before turning to the younger boy. "So...Want something to eat? Drink maybe? There're some vendors over there and my sisters gave me some money." He spoke, smiling happily, "I myself am considering ice cream." He continued smiling as he spoke, hoping Kiyoshi would take his offer up because it didn't seem to him as though the younger boy had any friends and Tetsuya surely knew that he himself didn't have any so this was indeed a nice change of pace for him and he guessed for Kiyoshi too.

Life is too short, So take the time and appreciate. Feeling that of Tetsuya's arm making its way around his back to rub it, honestly shocked him. It really took everything he had not to hug the older teen once more. The only time he ever got treated like that was with his mother. Noone else really took the time out to be nice to him, or even try to make him feel better for that matter. It seemed that they all wanted to torment him for being the way he was. Regardless of this, he just smiled that cute smile once more, a light tint of pink etching his cheeks as he did so. Why he was blushing....well, he really didn't know, but it was happening regardless.
Disregarding this, he walked alongside the other, only once shooting an uneasy look toward the laughing boys. Chewing his lip lightly, he chanced a glance in the older teens direction. He felt so short compared to him, here he was, a measely 5 foot 5, and Tetsuya had to be atleast 6 foot. For a moment, this thought kind of intimidated. But, after thinking about it for a moment, he really didn't have anything to be intimidated over. Sure, the other was tall, but besides that, Tetsuya wasn't threatening in any way to him. He'd definitely proven this by being so nice to him, much unlike most of the people he knew.
Grinning at this thought, he took a seat at the picnic table Tetsuya had seated himself at. Seating himself beside the older teen, he sat for a moment in silence before Tetsuya had begun to speak. Turning his attention to him, he just smiled while listening. But, this smile soon turned into that of a somewhat hesitant look. He honestly didn't like people spending their money on him, for the simple fact that he felt he didn't deserve it.
Regardless of this fact, he didn't want to turn down the others offer. Indeed, this was a nice change of pace for him, having someone be so nice to him, and actually want to hang out with him. It was something he rarely got, and therefore was hesitant about turning down the gracious offer. Chewing his lip lightly and tugging at a strand of his bright blonde hair, he shot a look over to the vendors, slowly nodding his head, although inside he felt as if he should be saying no.
"That sounds good." he said, pulling off a look that showed no sign of hesitancy, nor did his voice hint it at all. People had tended to get irritated with him when he seemed hesitant about accepting things that they'd payed for, so he usually tried not to show it. Slowly, he stood up and waited for Tetsuya to do the same, his shining black hues focused on the older teen. A small smile placed itself against his child-like features. "But I think i'll just have a pop." he now added with a nod of his head, feeling better after saying it. Pops didn't cost that much, so he figured this way he could feel better about accepting the offer. Kiyoshi's mind was very...jumbled, so to speak. He was always fighting with himself over simple little things, simply because half of him said one thing, and the other said another. It was just the way he was, and the way he had always been. Tetsuya smiled when his offer was accepted and the younger teen stood up. Though as Kiyoshi said that he would prefer a pop rather than an ice cream, Tetsuya's face gained a questioning expression. "No ice cream? Come on, you must have a sweet tooth." He smiled even though he was questioning the other. As he momentarily waited for an answer, he still sat in his seat though turned to face the other, his chocolate brown hues meeting Kiyoshi's deep black ones. His smile soon brightened a bit though and he pulled himself from his spot, now walking over to stand next to Kiyoshi, whom he realized he practically towered over as far as height went. "Guess I'll just have to buy you one of both." He concluded then, smiling happily to show he meant this playfully yet seriously at the same time.
As he started to walk over towards the vendor, he placed his hand on Kiyoshi's back once more. It felt natural to have it there for him, but then again he wasn't entirely why it should or would. After all, the two had just met. Was it because he felt protective over him? Like an older brother or father? Tetsuya mentally shrugged at this and just led the way over to a vending machine, hand continuing to rest on Kiyoshi's back. Though as he arrived at the machine, he realized he didn't know exactly what it was that Kiyoshi liked. "Hmm.." He thought to himself aloud, before gaining an idea. "Here, get what you want while I go and get us some ice cream." He handed Kiyoshi the amount of money that he'd need regardless of what he got before smiling happily and walking towards the ice cream vendor.
As he made his way over there though he realized just how hot he was wearing that stupid fluffy jacket. Glaring at nothing in particular at that realization, he pulled the accursed thing from his body and tied it around his waist. Generally he didn't care how stupid he looked like that since fashion just wasn't his thing naturally when it came to himself. Sure, he knew that off-white jeans, a brown belt, cowboy boots, a white fluffy jacket, and body glitter was not exactly the most fashion-wise outfit or look on the market to this day, but most would agree that it looked good on him. Well, his sisters did anyway and that was good enough for him. They knew what they were talking about. At least...he hoped so. Even so though the outfit was comfy and he liked it, so what made the difference if other people did. It certainly did not matter to him.
Once he made his way to the vendor, he looked at the long list of things. Now he knew what he liked, but what did Kiyoshi like? It looked like he would have to take a shot in the dark for this one because he knew the younger was not likely to co-operate with him if he asked what kind of ice cream he liked. Not that this bothered Tetsuya. Rather it didn't because he knew the younger boy just didn't want money spent on him. It was evident in the way he acted. Thus, Tetsuya's eyes scanned the list for what would be best to get. "Hmm..." He repeated the out loud thought as his chocolate brown eyes ran the length of the list. "Just order already." Came words from the vendor. Words he luckily ignored and just proceeded to keep looking. "How about...Ah, just give me two sundaes. Both in cones." He finally decided, smiling as he ordered despite the rudeness of the guy.
The guy nodded and told him his total in which he promptly paid, leaning with his hands onto the front of the cart as he waited for the guy to give him his order. It took the person only a couple minutes to fix them before handing them to him. Tetsuya smiled and nodded his thanks before turning around to see if Kiyoshi was still at the vending machine or not so as to be able to give him his sundae. In his mind he was a bit nervous about this seeing as he wasn't sure if the younger boy even liked ice cream or anything, but the majority of his mind told him that this would be okay. That perhaps Kiyoshi would enjoy the ice cream. Some of his mind though was still worried and there was no stopping that until he found the younger teen and gave him his ice cream.

Wednesday I came home from school, Did my homework in my room, Then I watched some t.v, I still miss you. "No ice cream? Come on, you must have a sweet tooth." "Guess I'll just have to buy you one of both."
Kiyoshi opened his mouth to retort against the idea, but slowly shut it soon afterward. There probably would be no use in arguing with the older teen about it, and to add onto that, he wasn't about to try. While he almost knew for a fact that the other wouldn't hurt him, the height issue still frightened him a bit. So, instead of fighting over it, he just nodded his head in obvious defeat and sighed lightly, walking alongside Tetsuya, tugging at another piece of his bright blonde hair. The hand rested against his back was almost too welcoming to be normal, but he just shrugged this thought off mentally as they reached the vending machine. His eyes immediately snapped to the Root Beer button.
"Here, get what you want while I go and get us some ice cream."
Smiling lightly, he nodded his head, but only hesitantly took the money from the others hand. Watching the older teen walk away for a moment, he eventually snapped his attention back to the machine in front of him. Sighing, he put the money into the machine and pushed the button for Root Beer. The sounds of banging and clanking could be heard inside the machine as Kiyoshi waited, almost impatiently, for the soda to reach the end of the machine. Rolling his eyes at how long it was taking, he finally was able to pick it up out of the machine.
Now holding the cold soda in his hand, he turned around and let his eyes scan the surroundings, searching for Tetsuya. Smiling lightly as his eyes finally landed on him, he rested his back against the vending machine, waiting for the other to reach him. The ice cream was handed to him as soon as the older teen had reached him, and he could only smile sheepishly in return. Well, atleast for a moment, before he once more realized he could speak.
"Zenk-you Tetsuya-kun." he said quietly, shooting him a cute smile once more and slowly bringing his mouth to come into contact with the ice cream. Grinning at the taste now lingering in his mouth, he giggled and licked away the ice cream remaining against his lips. He had many child-like qualities to himself, as you could plainly see. "You know...you really didn't have to buy me ice cream." he said sheepishly, sighing and bringing his mouth back to meet the ice cream once more. Sure, he was extremely guilty at the fact that he'd actually accepted the offer and was now eating the ice cream he had bought him, but it did taste good.

Tetsuya was quite relieved when Kiyoshi took the ice cream he'd bought for him and began eating it. He was glad that the younger teen liked it, or rather seemed to like it. Smiling at this thought, he licked a bit at his own ice cream before looking around the park some more. Now where could they sit? It seemed as though the table they'd been at before was occupied as of now, so where else was there? Tetsuya's eyes scanned the park still as he stood there before his eyes rested on another picnic table. Good. There was another place to sit. "Come on. Let's go sit down over there." He indicated with his free hand as to where the table was before starting to walk over there, knowing that Kiyoshi would probably follow behind him. At least, he guessed so.
He noticed some people were staring as he crossed the park, though it was only a faint noticing. He was used to people staring because of his fashion disaster-prone outfits he was always wearing. He didn't really care though whenever anyone stared and much less cared this time around when he was having fun with a friend. Though he hoped the staring wasn't bothering Kiyoshi because then he would have to do something about it...or well, try to. Continuously he licked his ice cream as he made his way over to the table, eyes darting to a few of the people who were staring occasionally before he took his seat at the table. His gaze turned back to see if Kiyoshi had been following him and once he was assured of that he turned back to eating his ice cream.
As he sat there for a bit he contemplated on what to say. Should he start a conversation or wait for Kiyoshi to do so? He guessed it was probably more or less his thing to do, and therefore he did. "You go to Asheville, right?" He questioned then, gaze turning to face Kiyoshi once more. His chocolate brown eyes studied the other teen for a moment before his attention was diverted back to his ice cream due to it dripping onto his hand. "Grr...stupid heat making it melt faster..." He grumbled, licking it off his hand first and then licking it off the cone. He thanked himself mentally that he hadn't put any of his body glitter on his hands because while that stuff was indeed pretty, it sure as heck didn't taste good. He'd found that out at a very young age.

If you want me to wait I will wait for you If you tell me to stay I would stay right through. Kiyoshi could only nod his head at Tetsuya's words, while he continually licked at the ice cream he had. He could feel the continuous stares they were recieving on him as they began to walk to the picnic table Tetsuya had gestured to. While they did irritate him somewhat, he tried to ignore them and just continue to walk alongside the older teen. By the time they'd reached the table, Kiyoshi was having a hard time managing his ice cream, seeing as it had begun to melt.
So, licking at his wrists, hands, and the ice cream cone, he sat himself down. Grunting from having so much trouble with it, he made an angry face at the ice cream before snapping his attention back to the teen sitting beside him, and the only reason he managed to do this is because he had begun to speak.
"You go to Asheville, right?"
Kiyoshi smiled and nodded his head at this question, his dark black hues turning to meet Tetsuya's own light brown one's. The smile that was already there, seemed to widen as he did so.
"Yep. Been going there since Freshman year." he said, grinning once more and nodding his head before licking at the ice cream once more, which had started to melt again, "Do you?" he asked curiously, never remembering seeing the older teen around before.
"Grr...stupid heat making it melt faster..."
Kiyoshi couldn't help but giggle at the older teens frustration over his melting ice cream. Chewing his bottom lip as to not laugh, well giggle, any more, he studied the other moment before giggling once more. He couldn't help it, it was just funny...no, cute, to hear the frustrated remark escaping the others lips.
"I know. It's melting on me, too." he said with a shrug, wrinkling up his nose once at the ice cream, then turning back to watch the older teen licking at his own ice cream, once more biting his lip in attempts to not laugh.

Tetsuya heard the question asked to him just as he was beginning to lick his hand again, so he stopped mid-lick and looked over at Kiyoshi once more, nodding his head in response, before starting licking once more. Once he'd finished with that task he wiped at his mouth with his bare arm, getting a face full of body glitter in the process due to the liquid portion of his ice cream. Though he didn't notice that in the slightest and just turned to face Kiyoshi once more so as to answer his question better. "Yeah. I've been going there since Freshman year too." He smiled in response before going back to his ice cream licking. Of course as he did that, he noticed that some of his body glitter was getting on his ice cream as he did so and that irked him a bit. "Why do pretty things always have to be such a bother?" He questioned in a rhetorical manner before proceeding to try and wipe of some of the glitter from his ice cream.
Once he'd wiped most of it off, he continued to eat it without much trouble. His gaze wandered around the park still as he ate, until he heard the cute giggle from Kiyoshi. Hearing that made him smile brightly over at the younger boy. "I swear, being as cute as you should be against the law." He smiled happily as he spoke, before his attention had to be diverted to his ice cream once more seeing as it was running down his arm. For a second he just stared at it and let it run down. "Might as well let it finish." He laughed a little as he spoke, turning to Kiyoshi briefly before facing his ice cream once more. His gaze turned to a mock-annoyed one as he stared at it running completely down his arm and the smile faded, but it was easy to see he wasn't being serious in how he looked.
Looking around with his eyes as if bored of waiting, he waited until the ice cream had fully melted onto his arm, well most of it, and then he proceeded to eat what was left in the cone and then the cone in itself. Once he was done, he turned to face Kiyoshi with a sheepish look on his face. "Well, up for a swim? Because I think I need one about right now." He questioned, knowing offering a swim rather than a shower would be the more polite, and appropriate, option as of the moment. "And mental note....ice cream on days like these is an absolute no-no...especially when your wearing body glitter and can't lick it off your arms." He laughed a bit as he spoke, holding his ice cream covered arm out away from his body and clothes, letting it drip onto the grass without much care.

"Yeah. I've been going there since Freshman year too."
Grinning lightly, he forced himself not to laugh at the face full of glitter Tetsuya had recieved, without actually realizing it. Although, his eyes did show the laughter that he was concealing. All he could really manage to do was nod his head, not being able to speak without laughing at the moment.
"I swear, being as cute as you should be against the law."
Blushing a bright red, Kiyoshi opened his mouth to speak, but nothing really came out. It seemed he could not think of anything to respond with. It was quite obvious that the older teen's comment had embaressed him, but in that good, send butterflies to your stomach, kind of way. Smiling shyly, he looked down to his lap [now done with his ice cream], and messed with his hands for a second before looking back up, and the only reason he really did that was because he could hear Tetsuya speaking again.
"Might as well let it finish." "Well, up for a swim? Because I think I need one about right now." "And mental note....ice cream on days like these is an absolute no-no...especially when your wearing body glitter and can't lick it off your arms."
Kiyoshi smiled lightly, a small giggle escaping his lips as he did so. Nodding his head though, he chewed his lip for a moment, a though suddenly occuring to him, where would they swim? Now looking back to the older teen beside him, he cocked his head to the side slightly and gave him a slightly confused look.
"I'd like to go swimming...but..." he began, chewing his lip while doing so, "Where exactly could we go swimming....I mean...there's the school pool.....but.." he trailed off, now feeling thoroughly stupid and embaressed, which caused the bright red blush to cross his cheeks once more. He just hoped Tetsuya didn't think he was half as stupid as he felt.
